Rygar Arcade Game
- Rygar did just that while staying within the limits of the NES, and the result greatly overshadows the arcade game. The name of Tecmo would become a household favorite over time, and soon enough, gamers would trek all over Argool and marvel at the large world and all of its beastly inhabitants.
- The classic Tecmo arcade game has been shrunk down to the small screen and is now portable! This side view action soft has you as the hero Rygar and your mission takes you through highly detailed multidimensional landscapes in your kingdom.
Rygar is a mobile port of this classic arcade game. PS4's September 2019 State Of Play: The Last Of Us 2 And All Other Announcements. Rygar also got ported to the Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64, but like most computer ports, all were pretty bad. To contrast, the X68000 version, released as Video Game Anthology Vol. 9, is basically arcade perfect. As far as ports available to Americans, the most faithful was, oddly enough, the Atari Lynx version. Rygar is a Nintendo NES game. Play it online at Play ROMs.

It is a scrolling platform game where the player assumes the role as the 'Legendary Warrior'. The main feature of gameplay is using a weapon called the 'Diskarmor'.
'Arcade archives' is faithfully reproduced in the masterpiece of the arcade game. Moreover, it corresponds to the function unique to PlayStation®4 system called a SHARE function.
